On October 5, 2026, Pinchain Tourism reported that Meituan data shows that in the first three days of the "National Day" holiday, searches for "Wansuishan makeup styling" in Kaifeng increased by more than 180% year-on-year, the average daily search volume for "Kaifeng ethnic costume travel photography" and "makeup styling travel photography" increased by 200% compared with September, and on October 2, the order scale for local ethnic costume travel photography increased by 181% year-on-year. Meituan, together with the Kaifeng Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau and scenic spots such as Hanyuan Stele Forest, launched the "National Day Hanfu Makeup Styling Season," with nearly a hundred Hanfu makeup styling merchants participating, integrating makeup styling, garden tours and scenic spot experiences into the same trip.
