Xi Jinping Issues Instructions on Building a Higher-Level Safe China

Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, issued instructions on building a higher-level Safe China, stressing adherence to the holistic approach to national security, coordinating development and security, combining punishment and prevention, strengthening rule-of-law support and technology empowerment, improving public safety governance and social governance systems, and preventing and resolving risks. The Safe China work conference was held in Beijing on September 28, where 60 demonstration cities and 160 demonstration counties were named.
