2023 Trends to Watch in Travel and Expense Management

A SAP Concur blog post introduces its e-book, Foresight 2023: 4 Trends in Travel and Expense Management, outlining predictions for the months ahead. It says the overarching theme is that companies will continue to invest in digital solutions to achieve goals from savings to program flexibility to sustainability. It cites Alexander Bant, chief of research at Gartner Finance Practice, saying CFOs are increasingly looking to the long-term benefits of digital investments, including automation, that can permanently reduce the cost of doing business. It lists four trends: the promise of digital tools, flexibility as paramount, purposeful travel, and the growth of integrated reporting.
