Survey: CFOs Prioritize Optimizing Costs and Efficiency to Drive Growth in 2025

SAP Concur's CFO Insights report reveals that the top priority for finance leaders in 2025 is optimizing costs and efficiency to drive growth. The survey covered 350 CFOs and senior finance leaders across eight countries. 69% cited optimizing costs and efficiency as the top goal, and 58% are turning to automation and AI. 94% say AI has already improved decision-making, and 73% say it has positively impacted cost and risk reduction. External challenges include worsening economic conditions (41%), geopolitical tensions (37%), and supply chain constraints (32%).
