UK CAA Urges Passengers to Pack Lithium Batteries in Hand Luggage

The UK Civil Aviation Authority issued advice ahead of the August Bank Holiday weekend, as around 2 million passengers are expected to depart from airports across England, Scotland, and Wales. Travelers are urged to pack power banks, vapes, phones, and other lithium-battery devices in hand luggage, not checked baggage, and never charge a power bank during a flight to prevent overheating risks.
