Airbnb leads $58M investment in WeRoad

Adventure travel specialist WeRoad has raised $58 million in Series C funding led by Airbnb, with existing investors participating, bringing total funding to $100 million. The investment will fund WeRoad's expansion to the U.S. market, its first push beyond Europe. More than 300,000 travelers have used the platform since its launch in 2017. Its WeMeet social events have attracted 50,000 people across 35 cities.
