China Cultural Tourism Group Development Report: August 2026

The Meadin Research Institute released its August 2026 report on China's cultural tourism groups. In August, 48 cultural tourism projects were signed nationwide with a total investment of approximately 17.688 billion yuan, and 16 projects commenced with an investment of about 6.478 billion yuan. Among cultural tourism groups, four companies underwent executive changes, 16 strategic partnerships were formed, seven equity changes occurred, and eight financing deals totaled 5 billion yuan. Of 64 listed cultural tourism companies that released H1 earnings, 46 were profitable, with China Tourism Group Duty Free leading in both revenue and net profit.
