Trivago Ramps Internal AI Spend Fivefold

Trivago spent more than five times as much on internal AI tooling and tokens in the first seven months of 2026 as in all of 2025. 93% of employees use AI daily, up from 63% last year. The company filed an antitrust suit against Google, alleging favoritism of its own hotel search. Q2 revenue grew 21% to €168.4 million, with adjusted EBITDA turning positive.
