Intrepid Travel acquires Altaï Group to expand in France and the Americas

Intrepid Travel has acquired French adventure travel company Altaï Group, its largest acquisition to date. The deal expands Intrepid's presence in France, making it the fourth-largest market globally. Altaï, headquartered in Lyon, operates brands including Atalante and Altaï Travel with a vertically integrated model. The acquisition also strengthens operations in Canada and Chile, adding a base in Montreal.
