Electric Air Taxi Plans Advance in the U.S.

Electric air taxi developers Joby Aviation and Archer plan to deploy aircraft in multiple U.S. states as part of a federal pilot program to test eVTOL operations. Joby will begin operations across 10 states, while Archer plans to deploy its Midnight aircraft in Texas, Florida, and New York, with flights starting in the second half of 2026. Investors include Delta, United Airlines, Uber, and Toyota.
