Expedia Group hits record Q1 profitability amid AI overhaul

Expedia Group reported Q1 2026 results with adjusted EBITDA up 83% year-over-year to $542 million, a record high. Room nights booked totaled 113.9 million, up 6%; gross bookings reached $35.5 billion, up 13%; revenue was $3.4 billion, up 15%. Net loss narrowed to $6 million from $200 million a year ago.
