SAP Concur Survey: Sustainable Travel Spending and Emission Reduction Goals

A SAP Concur survey shows 76% of U.S. travel managers say their company has updated travel guidelines or policies in the past 12 months to focus more on sustainability. 89% of business travelers consider sustainability important to their company, and 88% are willing to take steps to reduce their environmental impact, including taking fewer but longer trips (40%), staying in a greener hotel (40%), using public transportation (33%), and more. Gen Z and millennials are especially willing. SAP Concur has partnered with Thrust Carbon to help companies calculate travel emissions and set carbon budgets.
