Mauritania travel advice: FCDO warns against travel to parts

The UK FCDO updated its travel advice for Mauritania, adding information about protests. FCDO advises against all travel to eastern Mauritania and areas within 25km of the Malian border, and advises against all but essential travel to areas within 25km of the Western Sahara border and certain provinces. Protests related to Middle East developments have occurred periodically and can happen with little warning; avoid all demonstrations and large gatherings, monitor local media, and follow local authorities.
