Albania: U.S. State Department Issues Level 2 Travel Advisory

The U.S. Department of State has issued a Level 2 travel advisory for Albania, advising increased caution due to crime. Law enforcement's ability to protect or help is limited in some areas, especially remote regions. Violent crime related to illicit drug networks and organized crime exists countrywide. Large-scale political demonstrations may occur with little notice and disrupt transportation and essential services.
