China Ministry of Culture and Tourism: 1.794 Billion Domestic Trips in Q1 2025

China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism released Q1 2025 domestic tourism data. Domestic trips reached 1.794 billion, up 26.4% year over year, with urban residents at 1.318 billion trips (+22.4%) and rural residents at 476 million trips (+39.2%). Total domestic tourism spending reached 1.80 trillion yuan, up 18.6%, with urban spending at 1.48 trillion yuan (+14.8%) and rural spending at 0.32 trillion yuan (+39.6%).
