US State Department Maintains Level 3 Travel Advisory for Qatar

The US State Department maintains a Level 3 Travel Advisory (Reconsider Travel) for Qatar due to the risk of armed conflict. Since the onset of US-Iran hostilities on February 28, 2026, there have been ongoing drone and missile attacks from Iran and significant disruptions to commercial flights. The FAA has issued a NOTAM. As of August 28, 2026, family members may join US government employees.
