Libya: Level 4 Advisory, Do Not Travel

The U.S. State Department issued a Level 4 advisory for Libya, advising against all travel due to crime, terrorism, health concerns, unrest, kidnapping, and landmines. There is no U.S. Embassy in Libya, and the U.S. government cannot provide emergency services. Armed conflict, kidnappings, and terrorist attacks are high risks. Aviation safety is also restricted.
