Cardlay Plans Concur Expense Integration to Advance Virtual Card Payments

SAP Concur partnered with Danish fintech company Cardlay to integrate Cardlay's virtual card technology into the SAP Concur platform. The partnership supports a 'bring your own bank' strategy, allowing customers to choose their preferred financial institution while benefiting from integrated virtual card management. With the integration, Concur Expense users gain pre-authorization of spend, mobile virtual cards, simplified approval workflows, and automated reconciliation. A phased launch is targeted for late 2021 in the UK, with global expansion expected in 2022.
