AirAsia MOVE Launches Event-Plus-Flight Bundles, Betting on Event Tourism

AirAsia MOVE has launched MOVETIX, bundling flights with official event tickets into a single booking, starting with the 2026 Djakarta Warehouse Project festival in partnership with organiser Ismaya Group. A general admission ticket plus return flight from Kuala Lumpur starts from MYR 1,300, with savings of up to 20% versus separate bookings. AirAsia MOVE says its data shows travel intent around major concerts and festivals in the region rising 10-20%. The company plans to expand into sports and cultural events.
