WeRide partners with Uber, Grab to advance AV rollout

WeRide and Uber launched driverless robotaxi service in Dubai, available to riders selecting 'Autonomous' in the Uber app. WeRide also partnered with Grab to launch an autonomous public ride service in Punggol, Singapore. Dubai service initially covers Umm Suqeim and Jumeirah, with plans to expand across the Middle East. Singapore service is currently free with safety operators, with commercial service expected later this year.
