US House Committee Demands AI Pricing Policy Details from OTAs

The US House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has sent letters to Booking Holdings, Expedia Group, Lyft, and Uber requesting information on AI pricing policies, investigating whether AI combined with consumer data leads to higher prices. Chairman James Comer said surveillance pricing can occur in a black box, making it difficult for consumers to detect.
