Uber Teams Up with Zoox in Latest Robotaxi Partnership

Autonomous vehicle company Zoox has partnered with Uber to launch robotaxis on the Uber app, marking Zoox's first partnership with a third-party platform. The companies plan to launch in Las Vegas this summer and expand to Los Angeles by mid-2027. Zoox currently offers free rides through its own app. Uber CEO stated the company has a clear path to becoming the largest facilitator of AV trips globally and has partnered with multiple companies.
