SAP Concur research reveals five challenges for business travel in 2024

SAP Concur's survey of 3,750 travelers and 600 travel managers identifies five challenges for business travel in 2024: 88% of travelers were forced to make last-minute changes due to unexpected delays, cancellations, or re-routing, and 80% add booking buffers; safety and political or social concerns are top reasons travelers decline trips; the trade-off between sustainability and cost; unequal access to travel opportunities; and the need for AI solutions and education.
