Cumulative inbound and outbound passenger flow at Shenzhen Liantang Port exceeds 100 million person-trips

Since Liantang Port in Shenzhen fully opened its passenger inspection operations in February 2023, cumulative inbound and outbound persons inspected have exceeded 100 million person-trips, with more than 6 million vehicle-trips. A report on November 2, 2026 stated that since the start of this year the port has inspected 28.57 million inbound and outbound person-trips, up 14.8% year on year, and the average daily inspection volume has risen from 36,000 person-trips to 94,000 person-trips. The Liantang border inspection station completed intelligent upgrades to 48 express lanes and introduced artificial intelligence algorithms, raising the port's overall customs clearance efficiency by 37.2%.
