Hostie virtual concierge adds takeout ordering feature

On November 5, 2026, Hospitality Technology reported that Hostie added a takeout ordering feature to its AI virtual concierge. The feature supports the full commission-free takeout order process from ordering to confirmation, and connects directly with Toast, Olo and Square, with orders automatically entering the POS. The report said early adoption has brought more than $200,000 in takeout orders, a 70% order completion rate and over 18,000 items ordered, with order volume peaking around 5 p.m. The takeout ordering feature is now live.
