US BTS Intercity Bus Atlas Fall Update

The US Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) released the Fall 2026 update of the Intercity Bus Atlas, containing 3,928 stops and 1,947 routes, covering 49 scheduled intercity bus operators. The report states that this adds 3 operators compared with the previous update in August 2026. The map data is provided voluntarily by operators, and users can download geospatial files of stops and routes from the National Transportation Map Database. BTS said the atlas will be updated quarterly, and future versions will incorporate more operators as well as route and stop frequency information.
