The 12th Global Tourism Economy Forum will be held in Macao

Reported on October 1, 2026, the 12th Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF) will return to Macao from October 15 to 17, 2026, under the theme "Crisis, Resilience, Leap—Tourism Economy Reshaping a Sustainable Global Future." This edition specially invites Spain as the Partner Country and Hainan Province as the Guest Province of Honor, and will unfold around five pillars including resilience reconstruction and technological innovation, with business matching and "exhibition + inspection" linkage activities planned. The forum is supported by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and maintains long-term strategic cooperation with UN Tourism, WTTC and others.
