2026 COITM Inbound and Outbound Travel Trade Fair to Be Held in Beijing in October

A report on October 10, 2026 stated that in the first half of 2026, domestic residents made 3.463 billion trips, but the number of tour groups organized and received, revenue, and profit of most travel agencies continued to decline, with low-price competition causing some gross margins to fall below 5%. Against this backdrop, the 2026 COITM Inbound and Outbound Travel Trade Fair is scheduled to be held on October 14-16 at the New Hall of the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing, bringing together tourism bureaus from multiple countries, domestic and overseas destination resource providers and DMCs, and featuring an industry forum with 40+ topics. As of the end of September, more than 240 overseas tour operators from over 50 countries and regions have registered to attend.
