Ctrip Releases 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day 13-Day Long Holiday Travel Data Report

On October 7, 2026, Ctrip released the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day travel report. The report states that this year, only 3 working days separated the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, forming a 13-day travel window from September 25 to October 7. The report shows that inbound tourism orders grew by high double digits year-on-year, and domestic tourism scenic spot ticket orders grew by double digits; during the holiday, the peak daily order volume for domestic tourism was about 1.75 times the daily average, lower than 2.0 times in 2024 and 2.4 times in 2025; among domestic vacation travelers, the proportion of trips of 8 days or more rose from less than 6% in 2024 to more than 10% this year, and among outbound vacation travelers, this proportion rose from about 29% to about 42%.
