Colliers report: Luxury hotel brands led RevPAR growth in H1 2026

A Colliers report shows the U.S. hotel industry in H1 2026 reflected a "K-shaped economy": luxury and upper-upscale brands posted robust RevPAR growth while the economy segment saw year-over-year declines in occupancy, ADR and RevPAR. At least one luxury brand from each of Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott and IHG achieved double-digit YOY RevPAR growth. IHG's Atwell Suites led all brands at 22.7% growth, followed by Kimpton (15%), Hilton's LXR (12.9%), Hyatt's Unbound Collection (12%) and Marriott's W Hotels (10.8%). June overall RevPAR rose 8.4% year over year, with luxury up 13.3%. Mid-market brands showed signs of stabilization.
