Kunming Inbound Tourism Rises, Border Clearance Efficiency Up 25%

From January to July this year, Kunming received 924,500 inbound visitors, up 22.92% year on year. The Kunming border inspection station implemented six facilitation measures including 'one group, one policy' clearance, raising average port clearance efficiency by about 25% and cutting transit procedure time from 46 minutes to 6 minutes. In the first half of the year, Kunming airport port inspected 696,800 foreign entries and exits, of which about 261,600 entered under visa-free or transit visa-free policies. Kunming launched or resumed multiple international routes and introduced differentiated inbound tourism products.
