Hilton rolls out AI trip-planning tool

Hilton has launched a beta version of its generative AI-powered trip planner called 'Hilton AI Planner' to help travelers find hotels. The tool uses conversational intelligence to let users explore Hilton's global portfolio, compare properties, and learn about amenities. It is initially rolling out to a small pool of site traffic on Hilton.com and will expand later. Hilton's SVP and CIO Michael Leidinger said it marks another step in reimagining the travel experience. This is the latest in a series of AI initiatives from hotel chains, with Marriott and IHG also pursuing similar plans.
