The Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway and the China-Laos Railway carried 1.66 million and 14,000 cross-border passenger trips respectively. Railway departments operated special tourist trains for tourism and sightseeing, ecological health and wellness, and red education study tours, as well as tourist line trains such as the "Qilu No. 1 · Cultural Relics Study Train" and "China's Snow Capital · My Altay".

    EU study: Fragmented ERTMS trackside deployment drives up costs, recommends unified standards to reduce costs

    A study released by the European Commission points out that fragmented ERTMS trackside deployment in Europe is the root cause of high costs and rising complexity. National rules and legacy systems require suppliers to provide customized solutions, and may lead to supplier lock-in and restrict competition. Currently only about 10% of the trans-European rail network has completed ERTMS deployment, and full completion is expected to require investment of 75 billion to 85 billion euros.     Nanchang Railway Bureau's 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday transport runs from September 23 to October 8, a total of 16 days, and is expected to send 19.35 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 16%, including 10.255 million in Jiangxi and 9.095 million in Fujian. The peak passenger flow is expected to occur on October 1, with 1.91 million passengers sent that day, which is expected to set a new single-day historical high. Nanchang Railway Bureau plans to add 773 passenger trains, including 543 medium- and short-distance trains, focusing on covering directions such as Nanchang round trips to Wuyuan, Pingxiang, Jingdezhen, and Ganzhou.
