US Average Gasoline Price Up 29.5% YoY in August
According to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, the average price for regular gasoline in August 2026 was $4.06 per gallon, up 3.2% from July and 29.5% year-over-year. Diesel averaged $5.46, up 45.9% YoY.
