CAAS Establishes Temporary No-Fly Zone During 2026 F1 Singapore Grand Prix
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore will establish a temporary restricted area (TRA) during the 2026 F1 Singapore Grand Prix to ensure public safety and the safety of low-altitude aerial photography helicopters. The no-fly zone will take effect in time blocks from October 8 to 12, extending from ground/mean sea level to 4,000 feet above mean sea level. During this period, all aerial activities including kites, tethered balloons and drones are prohibited unless authorized by CAAS. First-time offenders face a maximum fine of S$50,000 or two years' imprisonment, with repeat offenders facing a maximum fine of S$100,000 or five years' imprisonment.
