The Ministry of Culture and Tourism released its sixth batch of typical cases, covering travel agencies arranging shopping or paid extras without agreement, organising unreasonably low-priced tours, guides instructing or coercing shopping, and threatening tourists. Penalties include confiscation of illegal gains, fines, suspension of business, revocation of travel agency licences and temporary suspension of guide certificates, with fines ranging from 3,000 to 100,000 yuan.

    China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism published its sixth batch of typical cases on forced consumption in the tourism market, covering 13 cases.
