Anhui Regulates Lodging Prices in Peak Periods, Cracks Down on Fake Discounts
Anhui's Market Supervision Administration, Development and Reform Commission, Department of Commerce and Department of Culture and Tourism jointly issued a notice on regulating lodging room prices during key periods, covering major holidays, tourism peaks, important exam dates and large events. The notice requires operators to display prices prominently, list all goods and services in package sales, prohibits surcharges beyond marked prices or unlisted fees, and encourages publishing peak-period room prices at least 15 days in advance.
