China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism Issues 15th Five-Year Plan for Intangible Cultural Heritage

China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for the Protection and Inheritance of Intangible Cultural Heritage, setting overall requirements, key tasks and safeguards. By 2030, it aims to form an initial new framework for systematic ICH protection, deepen ICH integration into modern life, and see new inheritance and experience scenarios emerge. Six key task areas cover improving the project protection system, optimizing talent cultivation, serving national strategies, creating new life-integration scenarios, deepening tech empowerment and boosting communication reach.
