The border with Afghanistan and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO) are Level 3 (Reconsider Travel). Following the March 13, 2025 signing and ratification of bilateral agreements between the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan, cross-border movement resumed at the Guliston–Kyzyl-Bel and Madaniyat–Kayragach crossing points.
