Delta's Texas Ambitions: Is Austin Its Next Hub?

Delta Air Lines is increasing its investment in Texas, with Austin potentially becoming its next hub. The carrier has established a base with 100 flight attendants at the airport, secured 15 gates, and is opening another lounge. Delta will launch Austin's first nonstop service to Europe with a route to Paris on March 27, 2027. CEO Ed Bastian has signaled intentions to grow further in Austin and San Antonio.
