'Grand Theatre in Beijing' 2026 Beijing International Theatre Season Opens October 7

On September 17, the Beijing Municipal People's Government Information Office held a press conference. The theatre season will run from October 7 to year-end, nearly three months, bringing together 120 Chinese and international productions, including 38 international and 82 domestic, spanning more than ten art categories. City-wide supporting theatre activities will reach 500, with discounted ticketing offered via platforms including Damai, Maoyan, and Douyin.
