Agoda Data: Malaysians Seek More Ways to Get Away at Year-End

Agoda released Malaysia December accommodation search data showing Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Malacca remain the six most-searched domestic destinations. Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu are gaining interest, Sibu entered the domestic top 20, and Johor Bahru and Port Dickson moved higher. Langkawi searches grew 58% year-on-year, Kuantan 111%, Malacca 82%, and Kuala Terengganu 114%, rising from 18th to 14th place.
