U.S. Keeps Uganda at Level 4 'Do Not Travel'

The U.S. Department of State updated its Uganda travel advisory, keeping it at Level 4 'Do Not Travel' with no change to risk indicators. It notes violent crime is a real danger, including armed robbery, home invasion and sexual assault, more common in larger cities, the Karamoja region and along western and northern borders. Terrorist groups have targeted religious venues, schools, government buildings, police stations, transportation hubs and areas visited by tourists, including national parks.
