Direct Ferries launches ChatGPT app for search and discovery

Ferry booking platform Direct Ferries launched a ChatGPT app offering conversational search and discovery. The app connects over 300 operators and 4,000 routes, built on OpenAI's enterprise infrastructure. Direct Ferries says its MCP server interface resolves the complexity of global ferry travel, enabling any agentic search platform to access clean, accurate, real-time inventory. The app is available worldwide via the free version of ChatGPT, with plans to offer the same infrastructure to B2B partners through Direct Ferries Connect.
