BTS Updates National Transportation Statistics 9/30/26

The U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) released the monthly update of National Transportation Statistics (NTS), adding table data on the number of U.S. airports, vehicle miles traveled, truck and train crossings at U.S.-Canada and U.S.-Mexico land border freight ports, delays, cancellations, and diversions for major air carriers, hazardous materials casualties and incidents, prohibited items intercepted at airport security checkpoints, transit safety and crime arrests, and railroad and grade crossing casualties. NTS was first published in November 1971 and now contains more than 200 regularly updated datasets and tables.
