Expedia Group to Lay Off 58 Corporate Employees

According to a federal WARN notice, Expedia Group will permanently lay off 58 employees at its Seattle headquarters, affecting roles including data scientist, finance manager, senior accountant, senior financial analyst, and software development engineer, and plans to cut multiple vice presidents. The layoffs are expected to take effect between November 21 and December 1, 2026. Some are the result of, or will result in, relocation or contracting out of operations or positions. Expedia Group owns Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, Travelocity, Orbitz, and other platforms.
