Asia-Pacific Airports Lead Connectivity as Chinese Hubs Complete Recovery

OAG released Megahubs 2026, its annual global airport connectivity ranking, with eight Asia-Pacific airports in the global top 20. Kuala Lumpur International (KUL) ranks fourth globally and first in Asia, with connections to 154 destinations, and tops the low-cost carrier megahubs index with nearly 15,000 possible low-cost connections; AirAsia operates 34% of total flights there. Seoul Incheon (ICN) ranks second in the LCC index with connectivity to 198 destinations.
