Brazil's ANAC publishes AVSEC practices manual for cabin crew

Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) published the Civil Aviation Manual for Cabin Crew, aimed at guiding airlines and airport operators on civil aviation security (AVSEC) requirements applicable to cabin departments. It provides explanations, examples and commentary on ANAC regulations covering onboard provisions and cabin service, and compiles the applicable regulations in its appendices. Because it contains Restricted AVSEC Information (IRA), the manual is not publicly accessible; under the need-to-know principle, access requires specific ANAC authorization, and the agency sends it directly to air and airport operators.
