Agoda Begins Limited Public Beta of AI Assistant Turning Travel Ideas into Bookable Trips

Agoda has begun beta rollout of its new AI Assistant, designed to help travelers turn travel ideas into personalized, bookable trips. Initially available to a select group of Agoda mobile app users, it connects conversational trip planning with Agoda's live inventory of more than 6 million accommodations, as well as flights and activities. The assistant retains user preferences and trip context; its core conversational intelligence is powered by OpenAI's GPT-5.6 model, with Google Gemini's 'Grounding with Google Maps' feature used for complex trip planning. It will gradually be made available to all mobile app users over the coming months.
