Sichuan's A-Level Scenic Areas Receive 13.37 Million Visitors During Mid-Autumn Holiday

According to the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, 907 A-level scenic areas in Sichuan received 13.37 million visitors and generated 88.89 million yuan in ticket revenue during this year's Mid-Autumn holiday, up 30.37% and 8.66% respectively compared with the same period in 2024. Various Mid-Autumn themed events were held, with Meishan as the main venue under the theme 'Splendid Tianfu, Moon over Dongpo' and sub-venues in Bazhong, Garze and Aba. Cultural tourism integration and night economy were highlights, with special events at Deng Xiaoping's Former Residence, Sanxingdui Museum, Zhaohua Ancient Town and Mianyang Museum.
